Mike, as well as being a First Aid Instructor for people is also a member of INTO Dogs, which stands for, The Association of Intuitive Natural Training for Owners and Dogs. He is also a Marine Mammal Medic for the British Divers Marine Life Rescue. So when your see divers trying to rescue stranded whales and Dolphins on the coast of the UK, Mike is one of those qualified to volunteer to help with the rescue.

Our aim is to help as many humans as possible learn to speak dog. It is a fact that most behavior problems stem from people not knowing what their dog is trying to tell them at a given moment.

This is always one-on-one so you have the undivided attention from your trainer and the added piece of mind that I am giving you and your dog 100% and I only use kind positive training methods. (No choke chains or gadgets and gizmos). Just a leash, clicker and rewards. Dog walking Service I also offer a dog walking service for people who work all day or are ill and can’t get out to exercise their beloved pet or if you just can’t give them the exercise they need. You can be confident to leave your dog in experienced hands. I only walk your dog and a maximum of two at a time and I will even give you a 50% discount for your second dog. Home Boarding I also home board dogs for holidays or hospital stays etc. I only board one families dog or dogs at a time (Max 2) in the comfort of my own home. You will be secure in the knowledge they are being looked after exactly as my own are. They will be walked at least 3 times a day and basic good manners training is included. Plus, we will text you every other day to let you know all is well with your dog. Puppy and Dog Socialisation The title says it all. Bring your puppy or dog along to learn social skills and remove the possibility of potential problems in the future.

Here at Canine Rehabilitation I only want the best for your dog and you. We will work together to help you and your dog to resolve any behavioral issues he may have. It’s a sad fact of life that many dogs are written off and either end up in a rescue centre or worse, executed, simply because owners don’t know how to communicate with their canine friends.

Like many other owners did you try obedience training? Did you read the books and watch DVD’s and the dog whisperer TV programs telling you that you should be dominating your dog? I can assure you folks your dog is not a Wolf in a dog suit plotting to take over the world in his sleep.

Dogs are highly social animals and unique in the fact that they readily accept humans into their social circle. Problems occur when owners fail to understand their dogs needs or communications to them. Dogs don’t understand spoken language but if you think about it they must have a way of communicating with each other. Believe me they do, they use body language and gestures, a look, a movement of the head and sometimes it’s so subtle if you don’t know what to look for you will miss it. They are also masters at reading body language and can even read people and other animals.

I can help. It’s not as desperate as it may seem I can teach you both to understand what your dog is telling you. I will work with you to fulfill your dogs needs to be just that, a dog, giving you both a happy and rewarding relationship.

I only use kind positive methods with no choke chains or sprays and gismos. I have proven time and time again our methods work with lots of very happy and satisfied customers with testimonials to back up my claim.

If you go to Google and tap in Dog Psychology or Dog Behavioral Problems you will get a whole gamut of web sites with pages and pages of advice, claims, testimonials, pictures of happy dogs and a whole host of letters after names. We could do that too but we really don’t feel the need as our track record speaks for itself. We will of course, provide testimonials and qualifications upon request if you would like us to work with you and your dog but we just don’t feel the need to waste space here with them.

The same applies to advertising. I don’t see the need to waste money on advertising with the ultimate cost being passed on to the client in higher fees, because 90% of my business is from referrals from happy customers and for any business, whether it be plumbing, sales, marketing or in fact any sector of industry or commerce a 90% referral rate is exceptional. Plus you have the added peace of mind of knowing we are dog owners too so we have probably experiences exactly what you are going through right now.

INTO Dogs is a non profit organization that assures owners and vets that all its members work to a code of ethics which encourages kind, positive methods with out stress to the dogs or their owners.

I am based centrally in the West Midlands and can travel anywhere. Within a 10 mile radius we don’t charge for travel but outside this radius we apply a mileage charge per mile both ways.

Outside my offices I have a large sports field that I can work with dogs in training and free parking for up to 100 cars. All with CCTV monitoring 24 hours a day.

If you are not sure whether you need my services or not call or e-mail me. I am always happy to talk to dog owners and answer their questions and advice is always free. What you got to lose? If you call me with your number I will even call you back to save you the cost of the call or you can text me with the message: DOG, and I will call you.

I do try to answer all calls and e-mails as soon as humanly possible but, at busy times there may be a short delay in getting back to you. Please be patient as I will return your enquiry as soon as I can. Your dogs wellbeing means a lot to me.

So, how can I help you?

· I will do a visit to assess the situation.

· Then I will draw up a plan of action for us to work on with your dog.

· I Will recommend what ever remedial training your dog needs if any.

· I will continue to help you after the visit with telephone and e-mail backup for the life of your dog.

· If for any reason further visits are required we will discuss this with you at the time of the initial visit.

So what do you get from a visit? A typical visit lasts for two to three hours but I will not be heading for the door after three hours. It takes as long as it takes to help your dog and you feel comfortable with the information and what you both need to be doing. Once I leave the consultation it doesn’t end there. I am always at the end of the phone or you can e-mail me and this service is free for the rest of the dogs life.

I also run course and seminars which include but are not limited to:

· Clicker Training Courses for individuals or groups.

· Understanding your dog better course.

· I can also arrange a tTouch workshop with a qualified practitioner.

Please note:

Whether we visit you for a behavior consultation or one to one training what we offer is not a quick fix for the situation with your dog. We will Endeavour to give you the best advice and solution to your situation but in most instances, rehabilitation or training is a long term commitment, not unlike owning a dog.

Your dogs training/rehabilitation depends on the owner implementing our advice or continuing with training after we have left. We understand there may be a lot of information to absorb which is why we follow up with a written plan as a point of reference and offer free back up via phone and e-mail or supply you with training notes to refer back to and as all dogs are different we can not give a time scale for training or behavior issues to be resolved it depends on the co-operation and performance of all parties concerned.
